My little studio helpers (you deserve to know about these!)

Artful Haven

"You can't use up creativity. The more you use, the more you have." Maya Angelou

Hi Reader,

Did the weather change where you are?

Here, the days are getting cooler, and I keep finding myself sneaking off to my studio more and more. A warm drink, some music, my journal open… honestly, it's my favorite season for creating.

And I'm never alone in there! My two French bulldogs are always right by my side while I paint. They love studio time just as much as I do (mostly for the cozy naps and the occasional snack 🐾). There's something so sweet about creating with a little snore coming from under the table.

Now that you've met my two furry studio companions, I'd love to introduce you to my studio helpers: my sticker and collage books! Whenever I sit down to make a collage or mixed media page, they're the first thing I reach for.

The other day I looked at them all piled up on my desk and thought,

"Okay, my creative friends need to know about these!"

So here's the thing. I actually own about twenty more, but I picked out the 9 very best ones, the ones I truly use again and again.

👉 Come take a peek here:

In the blog post, I'll give you a little peek inside each one and show you what you'll find in it, from dreamy vintage stickers to wonderfully weird surreal cutouts. I'll also share examples of how I've used them in my own journal, plus my favorite tips and tricks for putting them on your pages (like what to do when you love BOTH sides of a sticker sheet!).

And please don't feel like you need them all. Start with what you have, and if one makes you go "ooh," that's your book.

Now I'm so curious about you!

Have you tried any of these books?

And do you have other favorites I should know about?

Hit reply and tell me. I'm always happy to add a new friend to my shelf.

Happy creating,

Salwa

Artful Haven

P.S. Do you have a furry studio buddy too? I'd love to hear about them!

Hi I am Salwa

I am so happy you're here.

Through this journey, I'll be right here with you, guiding you step by step.
